Opening our doors in 1958 as Northern Home Improvement, we built ourselves up to become a local industry leader in constructing and renovating private homes in the Greater Lansing area. By combining the best products, vast construction knowledge, and custom craftsmanship, we established the professional and reliable reputation that our customers can attest to.

In 2017, we were given an opportunity to dive headfirst into the world of renovating and modifying multifamily structures. Using the momentum from this project, we rebranded ourselves as NHI Commercial, branching into new construction, general contracting, and construction consulting within the multifamily space.
